Get The Most From Your Diffuser

Choose the right spot. Yes, this really does matter. You need somewhere with good airflow, out of direct sunlight and not too close to radiators. Too much heat and direct sunlight evaporates the fragrance oil too quickly.
Give the diffuser time. Your reeds need to be placed in your oil and left for a few days so the reeds can fully absorb the fragrance oil. You may not smell your diffuser instantly.
Turn your reeds. Your reeds do clog up with dust believe it or not. They need turning approximately twice a week to help stop this from happening. This will help the oil absorb into the other side of the reeds and keep your home smelling amazing.
Room size. This is very important when choosing your scent product. Reed diffusers work best in smaller spaces. Too big spaces run the risk of loosing the scent. Many modern houses have big, open plan areas which will need more fragrancing. The best way to do this is to have two diffusers in the same scent to help keep your fragrance more present in these larger spaces. One can be put one end and another in the same scent the other end.
Don't hide your diffuser away. Avoid placing your diffuser up on the top shelf of your bookcase. This will not give it its best chance to disperse the fragrance. Place your diffuser on a sideboard that people walk past, your coffee table, high traffic central spots. Air movement from people walking past will push your fragrance into your room.
Remember to refresh. When your fragrance oil has nearly gone and you can't smell your chosen scent anymore it is time to refill or replace. Refill with our Fifth Avenue refill bottles in your favourite scent. Remember you will need new reeds every so often too.
