Always place candles on a heat resistant, level surface. Keep out of the each of children and animals. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Trim the wick to 5mm before lighting if necessary to avoid any large flames and always clear any debris. Never handle when hot.
The first burn of a candle is the most important to dictate how evenly the wax melts for its entire lifespan. Always let the candle burn until melted wax reaches edge to edge of the container creating a full melt pool. This is usually 2-4 hours. This helps to prevent your candle from tunneling.
